INTRODUCTION

I began seriously collecting comic books in 1993 at the age of 27. It's strange because when I was a kid I rarely read comic books.  In fact, I hated reading anything.  I was always more audio and visually oriented.

When I became a fully-fledged Babylon 5 drooling idiot in 1995, I just had to have the comic books.  So I went to my local comic book shop and ordered them.  All the while I was in the shop I kept telling myself not to look around but just to focus on the B5 stuff.  Well, this worked for about two weeks and my eyes began drifting towards Sam Kieth's "The Maxx"... the rest is history.

Several years and hundreds of dollars later, I present to the world Bugs' Comic Book Collection.  Highlights include:

And as always, if you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to send me a message at ( ) or use my handy dandy "Say" form on my home page.

FAVORITE TITLES

As I mentioned in the introduction, I started collecting a bit late in life so my favorites tend to be more recent and lesser known.  The very first comic that I really enjoyed was "The Maxx" by Sam Kieth.  Here is a short list of others I treasure:

  • The Maxx
  • The Victorian
  • Shi, The Way of the Warrior
  • Astro City
  • Doctor Solar: Man of the Atom
